First the good, this book is very concise & 2 the point. I use the index 2 locate what I'm looking 4 & viola', a nice description that's 2 the point without a load of fill & fluff. I like this very much.
The bad: Ahhh... Black & white photos, are you kidding? When I buy a book with the Adobe trade mark on it I expect high quality "color" screen shots & photos, not Black & White. I didn't research this enough 2 know it was B&W, that's my fault.
I would have given this 2.5 stars if it were possible, the writing/instruction is good, the image design really needs 2 be reworked with sharper color images.

Rating:2 of 5 Reproduction is lousy
I know this book bears the Adobe logo on the cover, but the reproduction is lousy & the pictures of menus, etc. are very small.
Pretty dumb 4 a photography book.
Disappointing 4 an Adobe sanctioned product.
Rating: 4 of 5 Lightroom crash course - Awesome!
I got my copy a couple of weeks ago & have enjoyed working through from cover 2 cover.
The book is easy 2 read & has really gotten me up 2 speed in Lightroom2 a heck of a lot faster than I expected!
I am familiar with Chris Orwig's Lynda.com video training materials & was curious 2 see if he could communicate in print with the same passion as he does in video.
Not only is the passion there but it is presented clearly & succinctly.
Totally worth the $$.
Rating: 5 of 5 Great short book
Quick & 2 the point. Very helpful. I use it 4 post-processing wedding shots.
