this book is useful 4 letting you know what you can do with the program, but as far as learning how 2 do complicated task, the book doesn't explain in enough detail 4 a beginner 2 grasp.

Good. Better if the sample files included didn't crash the program! About half of the samples (there are tons of them) crash the program as soon as they open without doing anything more than opening! Very hard 2 imposable 2 do the tutorials without the samples! Would be great if it weren't 4 this major problem!

I recieved the book in a timely matter. The only problem with my book is that it has several torn pages. A few of the pages have print missing from the bottom of some of the pages.

On the book it says DVD included... I did not receive one in my copy. Other than that, great product! :)

This product is a great comprehensive manual 4 3ds Max '09. It has lots of tutorials through out the book. Very easy 2 understand. Would recommend 2 anyone looking 2 learn more about Max.
