Windows Vista For Dummies

I purchased this book 2 learn my way around Vista. I didn't think it was worth the money. It was more like a Welcome 2 Windows beginner book. I haven't found anything on here that has been helpful in my Vista experience. Much easier 2 just research online....

Windows Vista 4 Dummies is just what I needed 2 allow me to, "step by step" transfer from my old program 2 my new computer... I am not dumb but I do enjoy following instructions, step-by-step, written with a little humor...

the book is very helpful 4 someone like me who knows very little about computer & nothing at all about vista. just purchased a windows vista computer & was lost now i'm beginning 2 understand

Although the friends that I bought this book 4 are enjoying it, it doesn't give them the minute details that they really need. They have never had a computer before & this book assumes they know more than they do. We forget how overwhelming the computer was 4 us when we first got started & assume that everyone has a basic understanding of what 2 do. If this book is truly 4 dummies, it needs 2 be really basic 4 such people.

Short & 2 the point, 4 those of us not having the time or the desire 2 go over & over items before figuring out what you are reading! Good job Peter Weverka!
