    What I Needed.
I needed something 2 help with basic points & procedures but I don't need nor want 2 work in Sequel. This met my needs well. I can use it as a ready reference, find my problem & get the solution. And I don't have 2 start from page 1. This book tells you how 2 use Access but without the Techno Speak. I have no regrets about the purchase.

    Great Reference Book
I have been using Microsoft Access since the early 1990s, & I have been teaching it in the classroom & online 4 over a decade. I was a contract database developer 4 many years... so I know Access, & I'm no dummy.

This book is very well written & organized. Even though I have been working with Access 4 almost two decades now, I still sometimes find myself in need of a text book 2 reference information. I keep a copy of this book on the shelf at all times.

P.S. Don't let the word "Dummies" fool you. This is a book 4 Access users of all skill levels.

    Nice Reference 4 the Un-Accessed
I am not an Access "guru" but have an immediate need 4 some intensive training. I've used Microsoft's on-line tutorials but need something closer at hand 4 reference. This book contains a huge amount of information 4 a person who is not very conversant in MS Access, & it has already been worth its cost. The information seems 2 be well organized & is presented in a way I can understand. I would recommend this book 2 someone else who has a bit of technical savvy & a need 4 a crash course in MS Access. I anticipate using this book frequently over the next few months.

    Good Reference tool
I bought this because I'm trying 2 expand my knowledge of Access. I use Access in my work & I'm at an intermediate level but I'm always interested in how I can make it work better/harder 4 my needs. This book is easy 2 use & put together well. I'm able 2 find answers 2 most of my questions quickly & easily. I liked that it included sections 4 ALL the parts of Access, not included in most books. Good overall reference manual.

    Worth Getting
I found myself suddenly needing 2 use Access 4 analysis that was way too big 2 do in Excel (comparing data sets from 3 sources with ~800K records each). I really knew nothing about Access. Between this book & the internet I have become very proficient in Access. I practically slept with the book 4 a week. I now find I don't need it & have lent it 2 a co-worker.
