Either you can bumble around trying 2 locate MS Money 2005 Deluxe features via complex pulldown menus or online help, or you can buy this book & learn quickly & easily how 2 navigate & understand the entire program.

The book substitutes 4 the Help file that should have been installed with the software. It also includes information that doesn't seem 2 be available from online help. Without the book, 4 example, I'd never have found the screen 4 adjusting Tax Estimator tax rates 4 future years, & I'd never have ventured 2 prune the automatic payee list 4 fear of deleting related transactions.

I bought this book 2 go with the Business version of Money 2005. When I opened up the package from Amazon, I was disappointed 2 find that this book does not cover Business Money. Now, I've got 2 go through the hassle of packaging it back up 4 a refund. Thought I'd spare you the same experience.

I already have the 2003 version of this book, & found that one 2 be a great help in getting familiar with the old program. It's written 4 beginning users & some of the tips are real time-savers. However, the chapters about basic record-keeping information 4 small business owners are unnecessary filler. The 2005 version looks 2 be pretty much the same as the one I have. So if you're just doing personal finance tracking with Money, it's handy 2 have.

Now, if someone would please write an easy book 4 businesses that use Money!
