I only gave it two stars because I love the second one!!!
This game was really not that great,I played it thinking that I would love it,but whenever I started playing it,I didn't like it,you can't move you screen which is a HUGE handicap, the gummi ships are bad because you have 2 put them together piece by piece which takes time & sometimes it won't let you do it.The game is also very hard,I love anything that has 2 do with Kingdom Hearts but this was a letdown.

Got it in 4th Grade
when the game came out i didnt no anything about FF & really didnt care much 4 disney... but as a little 4th or 5th grader i was really curious... so i bought the game. i loved the game soo much. i later got kingdom hearts 2 & i have the psp & cant w8 4 birth by sleep. at times the game might seem a little too, how do i say this, written 4 kids, but just like the cat in the hat books, it has a really thought out story line 4 a more mature mind 2 grasp. sadly i never beat the game, i got 2 the second 2 last boss, & then my memory got corruped(cuz i turned it off while i was saving on accident). & also never got around 2 beat the second 1, i was on the last boss, then skool started or something, forgot. & well, i like them cuz its like a movie, but it also gives u a fun time. Very Addictive, if u havnt played it, buy it now

Well, only 3 letters 2 explain: W-O-W
I first heard about this game when one of my friends at school mentioned it 2 me. I was slightly interested, & decided 2 try it. I've always been a big Disney fan, & I think without the Disney, I wouldn't have bought this game. I was skeptical when I first heard about it, having never heard of Square Enix & thinking that Final Fantasy was a movie....well, anyways, I popped this into my PS3, & I was purely amazed by the graphics, 4 a 2002 game. They surpass most of my newer PS2 games! I love the characters, & the voice overs are great! Even if you don't like Sora or Kairi or Riku at first, they tend 2 grow on you. Sora & Riku's friendly competitivness is always fun 2 watch & play. The only thing I don't really like about the characters is the fact that their feet are a bit...large, & Sora acts more like an 11 year old than a 14 year old.

As 4 the actual gameplay: Very simple 2 learn, & once you do, easy 2 use. Before I got into Kingdom Hearts, my favorite games were the Legend of Spyro games, & I loved the combat system in those. KH uses a similar system, with the simple press a button & hit the enemy. It's not too hard but not too easy, either. Whoever says the battle system is too hard, I'd like 2 ask them how exactly do YOU play it? Becuase it's simple as anything 2 me. The only thing I didn't like about the gameplay was the camera, hard 2 maneuver & often getting in your way while fighting a boss. But that's an easy problem 2 overcome; eventually I just started 2 not even notice it.

I think the only game that ever tops this one is the sequal (Kingdom Hearts II, 4 those of you who couldn't figure that one out by yourselves ;D)

A fun game & challeging how 2 beat it
It me again Slagar the cruel. I thought I would give some pointers on how 2 beat bosses of kingdoom of heartrs II faster & more efficiently. I love this game when it came out 2 or so years ago. For those of you bold enough 2 try this game on proud mode or any other difficult setting which I guess is an easter egg unlocked my doing normal or hard mode. Here is some tips 4 killed that annoying boss from the second act (second trip) 2 Point royal. As long as the boss is hold or touching any of the cursed medalions he is invulerable & blows won't hurt him. The best way 2 get him 2 drop coins is 2 either hit him with his own lance like weapons or blast him with what ever current form of the lightning spell you have. Pick up the coins & return them 2 the chest. If you are doing this one Proud mode or just wanting a fast battle this helps alot. I also recommend you use the Trinity limit attack as much as possible when at close enough rage & boss coin display reads zero. Depending on what version of the staff donald weaponj is using (shield 4 goffy) may determine the effectiveness of the attack combo. Also some times its better 2 over heal rather than 2 risk having 2 due the fight over again I suggest you do it when at half health or less. You gain the trinity limit by either leavel up goofy or donald or it is one of the abilities gained from defeating one of the previous bosses. (I will double check on that later) I an not sure about Donald but the guy changed out goffies default shield with on of his stronger ones before coming back I belive it was called likee the guard shield or the save the Queen Shield. (I'm not sure if you can get this super strong shield 4 Gof at this point in the game). The shield that was used lies in one of chests in Mulan's world. You can get it out of a chest in the Emperor's throne room after defeating the dragon heartless on the second visit 2 Mulan's world. Use Goffy trinty attack combine with your own weapons & less than about 50 hits will bring done this boss I belive I was about 35 hits was the bosses resistance with the trinity limit. I did not include magic attacks used 2 make 2 monster drop the coins those I did not count because they don't deplete the health bars until he's vulerable again. Trinties are multy hit attacks they can do massive 2 decent damage if used right 2 each bar of health. When you have a boss like in this game that has 1 2 9 bars of healthy depending on how far your are it makes it easier on you. I know that does not sound that efifcetive but it is. This boss is called the Grim Reaper Heartless. He has 790 hights points when you fight him the second time. You have 2 fight him also about midway way through the game but he only has about 1/5 2 1/2 That a lot of health 4 a boss that about 5.2 time what Sarro has in the first game if you do not play the game fairly & use the extend hit points cheats & about double what he had in Chain of Memories which made the game way 2 easy until you got 2 Dragon Malificent. I hope this is helpfull sorry if I am miss using your website but I don't have a you tube account so I can't put this information on the actual page which would be alot more convient.

Nice Condition, Great Game
This was a great product 2 add 2 our PS2 Collection. Me & my husband have both played this game & it is very entertaining. A nice RPG I would say.

Guide a young boy named Sora, & his friends Riku & Kairi, as he saves the world from destruction at the hands of an evil group known as the Heartless. Set off from Sora's island paradise home with the help of Disney characters such as Donald Duck & Goofy, who are on their way 2 find their missing king, the one & only Mickey Mouse. Use Sora's secret weapon, the keyblade, in an adventure that takes you through familiar Disney worlds. You will also run into many of Squaresoft's favorite characters as they join the struggle.

Ever wondered what would happen if the worlds of Final Fantasy & Disney collided? It’s an odd concept 2 be sure, but from the most schizophrenic of acorns the mighty gaming oak of Kingdom Hearts has grown. Legendary role-playing game makers Square have been given unprecedented liberties with the entire Disney universe & have created a game featuring everything from The Nightmare Before Christmas 2 The Little Mermaid. This is odd enough in itself when you have characters as disparate as Tarzan & Donald Duck teaming up, but becomes majorly freaky when Square thrown in a variety of their own characters such as Cloud, Squall, & Aeris from the various Final Fantasy games. But this incongruity has one side benefit in that the storyline behind the game is by necessity rather vague, which seems 2 have stopped Square from filling three CDs full of their usual New Age whining about Mother Earth. Instead they’ve spent even more time on the graphics, & the end result is a quite stunning 3-D cartoon.

As 4 the gameplay, it may come as a surprise 2 learn that it doesn’t actually feature, as all the Final Fantasy games do, turn-based combat. Instead it's essentially a scrolling beat-'em-up-cum-platformer with exactly the kind of complicated Square-style knobs you’d expect. The game may be a little shallow, but it’s an impressive artistic achievement & 2 be quite frank any title that allows you 2 magically summon Bambi out of thin air 2 attack evil demons of the underworld has got 2 be worth some sort of recommendation. --David Jenkins
