Shenmue 2

I personally love this series. I played Shenmue 4 the dreamcast & enjoyed being able 2 run around Japan 2 search 4 clues. Shenmue 2 starts in Hong Kong. I enjoyed running from place 2 place getting part time jobs, playing the street gambling games,etc. This game is not just all running around & games but you also get 2 use your karate 2 defeat people in your way. But even if you do not want 2 complete the game there are many side quests & games 2 play such as arm wrestling. If you do not like games where you have 2 sit down & think about where 2 go then I would not recommend this 4 you. But if you like solving mysteries & beating up the bad guys, I would recommend this game.

The only disappointment is that it looks like Shemnue 3 will never be released.

For those of you that havent heard about or played this game, you are seriously missing out, this is the most fun game I have ever played, its got old school controls but the sweeping storyline makes up 4 the bad camera control, & the amount of detail in each character & place, you can walk through hong kong! Its a martial arts RPG that just screams re-playability. Hell, after the first time i beat it I started a new game right away.
You litteraly fall in love with the beautiful graphics & epic story of a young man that struggles with revenge 4 the death of his father.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PLAY THE FIRST ONE TO ENJOY SHENMUE 2!!!!!

Just pick this game up & give it a shot, garunteed the first 5 mins will captivate you & rope you in!

BEST GAME EVER AND I WOULD NOT MIND HAVING SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH JOY

This was a great RPG game. This is the only kind of RPG I can play. I really don't like most other RPG's requiring you 2 learn a new language, fight every other scene, etc. etc. Its like playing Starwars, without any weapons. (I hated all the Starwars movies!)

I do, though, enjoy this type of game though! I love the games that give us a beautiful, well known city as the backdrop (Max Payne, Fear Effect 1 & 2, Spiderman, Shenmue 1 & 2, etc.)with a great mix of gameplay, & exploration. This is my favorite type of RPG style game.

I give this game two gamer thumbs up!!! Awesome!!!

At first i was unsure about this, but after playing the first game on the Sega Dreamcast i was hooked. The game is simply huge, there is so much 2 do & see & the story is very engrossing. Of course you don't have 2 follow the story. The game gives you the chance 2 explore the vast city & indulge in such past times as darts & even gives you the chance 2 play some of Sega's classic arcade titles. This game won't be 2 everyones taste however, it can take up alot of your time & moves at quite a slow pace. So anyone looking 4 fast paced action look elsewhere this game requires alot of patients. This being a convesion of the original Dreamcast game, the graphics do look slightly dated & the voice acting is terrible. Still if like me these things don't bother you that much & your after somthing with an epic feel then i highly recommend this game, but if shooting things & big bangs are your thing then i think you would be much better off sticking with the Grand Theft Auto games. But if your willing 2 open your mind, you might find yourself hooked just like i was.
