Star Wars Republic Commando

The skinny on this game is that it rocks. The squad that you command has some pretty good A.I. & the enemy's A.I. may throw some surprises at you too. The range of enemies isn't the greatest, but you may find yourself surprised who (or what) you end up fighting. The range of weapons starts out as basic, but if you keep your eyes open, you can get your hands on some pretty devastating weapons. The gunfights range from what seems like child's play, all the way 2 "This Is Impossible!" fights. While there aren't any vehicles at your disposal, there are various types of turrets, capable of unleashing hell on enemies foolish enough 2 get within range. Overall, this fast-paced shoot'em up set in the Star Wars universe was a lot of fun. I found it 2 be one of the best Star Wars games yet, as it puts you right in the action in a different way than all of the others have. If you're considering buying this, but you're still not sure, check YouTube & watch a few minutes of someone else playing through a level. Or you can just listen 2 me, & buy the game now... either way, you'll end up buying the game.

i love this game. it combines the two greatest games in the world: star wars & halo. all the controls mirror halo's controls. also, it's the star wars universe. even when u kill a droid & the oil spatters on your visor, it automatically wipes the visor. brilliant. i recommend it 2 everybody.

I really don't want 2 go into too much detail, but this game is very fun 2 play , with alot of action , & very intelligent AI , & if it sounds too good 2 be true that's because it is. although, it has those great components the game is relativly short, & that sucks so much from a great game like this.

First of all, i've always loved squad based shooters that allow you 2 give commands so my judgment might be swayed a little by that. though i found this game a little too short, i beat it around five or six hours, it was very entertaining. the gameplay is fun & gives you many options of what 2 do with your squad although once you have the actions down much of the game is cut & dry with fixed positions 2 perform certain actions but the game is still entertaining. there are many different mission requirements that spice things up a little. the weapon strength 2 enemy health ratio is a little unbalanced though as the melee attach is increadably stronger than shooting with the rifle & some enemies just don't like 2 die(whacking or shooting), good thing your squard can revive each other despite being blown apart by rockets & grenades. the AI is definently not the worse i've seen, though i have seen better but not many & not by much. all in all i don't regret buying this game at all.
