This game was not as fun as the newer version. It was a lot harder 2 understand, but it was okay 4 those that have the time 2 read cheat codes 2 find out how 2 operate the SIMS. I rate this a C-

The first two titles in the series by EA Games are The Sims & The Sims Bustin' Out, but make way 4 number three, The Urbz: Sims in the city.
In The Urbz, you guide your Sim through life in nine very diverse culturally different districts, where you have 2 walk the walk & talk the talk. As in its two predecesors, in The Urbz, you have goals 2 achieve, bills 2 pay & promotions 2 obtain. The differences you'll find in this game are in the jobs you work & clothes you buy, which are district specific, & the other Sims you meet & interact with.
Another difference is that you have 2 build up your reputation. This is achieved by meeting & befriending as many different Sims as you can & learning their specific social interactions. At the start of the game, you must choose what district 2 start out in. By completing your goals & building your rep, you unlock other districts 2 visit & work in.
The main goal is 2 build yourself up 2 have the highest rep in the city, so that everyone wants 2 be your friend. This game is fun & simplistic without being too easy. Plus, after you beat it the first time, you can always go back & play as someone different, giving this game replay potential.
On a scale on 1-10, I give this game an 8.5. Sim-fans should not miss out on The Urbz!

Being a fan of the sims & the sims 2, I borrowed Urbz from a friend. I fell in-love wih it!!!
I especially love the music!!! (the punk station roxx!)
It has such diversity & selection in cultures. From punk 2 prep 2 gangsta, you've got it all in this totally wicked-awsome game!
If you'd like more controllabilty 4 your sims, then this is the game 4 you!
And your sim is much more customised!
You work jobs 2 earn money 4 peircings, tatoos, hairstlyes, clothing & more!
Plus, you go around town & different districs 2 buid up your REP!

I thought it sucked!
This game was not fun, & overpriced (I paid $17.99 4 a used copy). I wish I could get my money back.
I'm straight outta the hood, & thought this game was vulgar at best, & not representaive of 29th & Crenshaw, where I stay.

Disappointed!
My children found this game quite a disappointment. They claim it was "kinda boring, & not entertaining" in comparison 2 the other Sims games which they love. They recommend the "Sims Unleashed Expansion Pack" & Sims versions one & two.
