VICTORYMUL ADVUEU 7IN PORTABLE DVD PLAYER ( PD710 )

Got this as a gift & it worked fine 4 about 2 months. Now the battery doesn't hold a charge & I can't find one 2 replace it. Works well plugged into an outlet, which defeats the "portable" point of the whole thing.

I love this thing. Had it 4 6 months. Use it everyday at home and/or on the road. Great picture & sound. Dropped at least a dozen times & still works flawlessly. Descent battery life. All around good product & it looks good too. I would recommend it 2 all. Thanks.

The unit kept on displaying "Invalid Key" even no key was pressed. The center LED in the Up/Down/Left/Right keys never lit & the keys never work. The Fwd/Bkwd keys are skipping uncontrolably during selection of the DVD's menu.

Got the replacement one a week ago. All functions work so far. It cames as Region-1, but easy 2 make it region-free from a secret menu after entering a 4-digit code.

I purchased this player 4 my 2 year old 4 a plane flight.
The unit worked well once (for a duration of 1 hour) & stopped working? It was never dropped or mishandled. I thought it might just need another charge, so I recharged overnight 2 no avail. Basically the unit played one DVD 4 about an hour & is no longer functioning. It's dead.
It's a piece of junk & buyers should beware. I guess you get what you pay 4 ... & based on the cheap price I should have known. Just hope others can stay clear of this unit by reading this review.

There are few things I like about this DVD & a few that I don't.
What I like:
1. Battery life - up 2 3.5 hrs
2. Sturdy structure - good if you've got small kids who want 2 operate the unit
3. Autovolt (100 ~ 240v) you can take it anywhere in the world.

What I don't like:
1. It's not multi-region, it's locked 2 region 1.
2. Does not play DVD-RW
3. Battery size -- battery is almost 20% of the total size of the unit. However, you can remove the bulky battery if you're using it in a car
