SanDisk Sansa e130 512 MB Digital Audio Player with SD Expansion Slot

I just want 2 say how please I am with this item & the seller. It arrived promptly & is just what I was looking for.

I have an MP3 player but this one takes my SD cards & as a music director I have a massive amount of music & teachings I like 2 have available, so this is perfect. I can sort my files according 2 use & just carry my SD cards. SO much easier than carrying individual CDs.

I have no idea why these types of players are no longer available in stores & unless someone starts making them again soon, they will probably not be available much longer. But if what you're looking 4 is something you can work with on this level, this is the best one I've found.

This is probably the best mp3 player I've ever owned. Works great & never gives me any problems. I love the expansion slot, I have multiple SD cards with different playlists on them so all I have 2 do is swap cards & I have a whole new set of tunes 2 match my mood, just like changing CD's, it's GREAT!

The SanDisk Sansa e130 is an awesome little MP3 player. It has great sound quality. It really is a lot of bang 4 your buck.

THe MP3 player is very easy 2 use, only should copy the MP3 files 2 the card & that's all, the only compleinment are the headphones, you must change this maybe by Sony Headphones, then the sound will be great.

Overall, the Sansa is a nice player, very easy 2 figure out, solid controls & built well enough 2 take a little abuse. No complaints there, but I bought this particular model because it has the SD media reader. I thought it would be convenient 2 swap out the card on the fly rather than download new tunes 2 internal memory. To that end, its ability 2 read an SD card seems 2 be intermittent at best. I tried a 2GB card & that seemed 2 be flat out just too much 4 it. It took a long time 2 read & typically came back with zero songs. I tried a 1GB card which it seemed 2 like better. It took less time 2 read, but it was still a roll of the dice when it came 2 getting a song list from it. After trying several different uploads, I suspect it has some limit 2 the number of folders it can handle, so if the mix creates too many, the player gives it a try & then caves. For the money, this is more of an irritation than an issue, but I expected better.
