Burnout Revenge

The physics of this game is very unrealistic but it is quite entertaining 2 see the takedowns that you had done. This game is very unrealistic. If you want something that is realistic, try Forza or Burnout Paradise since the physics are much more realistic & much more realism in it.

i played this game on xbox 360 & liked it...but 4 some reason, i LOVE it on the original xbox. its fast...fun...the areas you race in are beautiful & long..the graphics are excellent 4 the xbox...this is THEE racing game 4 the xbox, hands down, no other racing game can stack up, not even Burnout Paradise. nothing else i can say really, you just need 2 own this now..

I have had this game 4 a long time & recently purchased another 2 replace an over-used original copy. It's a great game & one of my favorites of all time.

Burnout: Revenge is the fourth [4th] Burnout game that has been released [not counting the ones on handheld portable gaming consoles], & is also the first one 2 be released on a "next-gen" console [the Xbox360]. In Revenge, the Burnout series takes a small step away from it's bright colors & light-hearted theme towards a more mature, grittier one [see: the darker/edgier soundtrack, as compared with the ones in previous Burnouts], & also adds new types of takedowns [for instance, the Vertical Takedown, accomplished when the player lands his car on top of a rival's] along with new racing modes [i.e.: Traffic Attack, where your objective is 2 keep the clock running by smashing ["checking"] traffic on the road, until you reach a specified dollar amount in damages 2 get a bronze, silver, or gold medal]. Obviously, new cars, along with new tracks are added. I don't recommend this game [or any of the Burnout series] 2 beginning gamers, as the sheer speed of the cars racing along tracks along with you, combined with the amount of mayhem that goes on around you, can be overwhelming. The Xbox [original, not the 360] version I bought looks absolutely stunning, & I'm frankly surprised the machine can handle so many things going on at once.

In some ways I kinda regret not waiting until I got my Xbox 360, & bought this game 4 that instead of my old Xbox. But when playing this game that regret immediately wears off. The action racing is still among the best in gaming, crashing your opponents is still very satisfying, the graphics are still great, the cities are still great, & the crashing is still amazing. Unlocking stuff is still a lot of fun as well, & is well worth the challenging tasks given 2 you. So if you like crashing your opponents during a race, & you like adrenaline rushes, this is most definitely without one helluva choice 4 you.
