excellent!
I just finished playing it, & it became one of my favourites of all time (and I played A LOT of adventure games)! The story is excellent! I can't beleive someone called it boring. Although if you like shooting & action games, this will be boring, because there is a lot 2 study & read & explore here, a lot of walking around & looking into every corner 2 find more clues. I even had a notepad 2 write down all the facts. The only thing I didn't like was that the surroundings don't "move" with the movement of the mouse, so you have 2 click-click-click 2 look & walk around. But overall athmosphere, sound & story-line are so real & creepy!! When I say creepy, I mean the athmosphere - there is no blood or violence here. So I would recommend it 4 those adventurous ones of you!!! )))

Mixed Genre Disappointment
This is a game which cannot make up it's mind (I know that people created it) as 2 what it wants 2 be. Is it going,as advertised,to be a creepy adventure story? Is it going 2 be a scary whodunit? Is it going 2 be a horror filled thrill ride? No,No,& No. It is a boring, plodding sci-fi wannabe, detective story maybe,brain-teaser oughta-be, ripoff! Not creepy, graphically ridiculous (there are more scenes & interesting content in a Mighty Mouse cartoon) with a plot so loose that it needs
Kaopectate. I love a good chilling adventure but this ain't it!

Fun game, weak ending
I think that this is a fun game, it was interesting going from time 2 time exploring different things. When I actually finished the game, my jaw dropped a little. I really expected more. Like another reviewer said, it seemed rushed & very difficult 2 understand what is being said. Overall I liked the game.

a liitle glad its over
Well first off I just finished this game & decided 2 come rate it. In the beginning I was very excited 2 play. Then after going back & forth between times I got a little aggravated. I really got tired of climbing back & forth on the lighthouse stairs. Also I am no artist so It annoyed me that I had 2 go back threw most of the game 2 sketch certain things so I could have the ending that I deserved. Well I didn't get the ending I deserved. The ending is horrible. You can barely make out what is being said. I had 2 actually go 2 a few website 2 read what was being said in the end. A lot of items you click on will have 2 be revisited after a certain item is found. So its like going threw the entire game twice hoping 4 something 2 change. But on the plus side it was a good way 2 waste a lazy Sunday. I would suggest playing the game if you just have nothing else 2 do & there is nothing on tv 2 watch. Its very cheap on here now so go 4 it. Just have a pen & paper ready 2 write down a lot of numbers & do a few sketches.

Better than Darkfall..............But Weak Ending............
Having played both games with my girlfriend, Lights Out 2 us is much better overall. While it's starts off a little slow, it really picks up later. Our only grip was the ending. There was so many layers going on that just seemed 2 be rushed into an ending. The makers should of left it open 4 a sequel.
Overall though, it's worth the money & time 2 play..............

Dark Fall 2: Lights Out is a sequel is the classic 1st-person adventure, Lights Out: The Journal. The year is 1912, & you play a young surveyor mapping an ancient coastline. When you arrive, the local fisherman keep their distance, while avoiding mention of the old lighthouse on Fetch Rock. One night, the lighthouse goes dark as a deep fog rolls in & people begin disappearing. The mystery of the lighthouse beckons, & as you uncover it, you'll be haunted by apparitions.
