John Deere North American Farmer

My son is 8 years old. We live on a farm & this game is great 4 him. He plays it all the time. I recommend this 2 the advid "John Deere" farm boy or girl.

This game is not 4 everyone, I have 2 say. But I loved it! It is a farm sim where you plant & harvest a variety of crops, raise livestock, hire workers, build farm buidlings, & buy John Deere farm equipment.
I have lived in the city my whole life, but I also enjoy simulation & strategy games. I also like finances & accounting. For those who are looking 4 action packed, fighting games this title may not be 4 you.
I liked how simple this game was 2 learn, yet the challenges make it worth staying. You deal with weather & bugs that can destroy your crops. You struggle with debt (that can be overcome with patience & work) & trying 2 time the in-game market 2 buy livestock at the right price as well as sell livestock & the crops you have stored at the right time.
This game is not terribly elaborate, but according 2 my cousins who live on a farm & a friend who has an animal science degree, this game is quite realistic in terms of running a farm.
So if you are looking 4 a game that gives you a realistic farm experience, this one is the best I have played. It is fairly inexpensive, too, which is nice. A great way 2 spend some free hours!

The game is great! Maybe just a few things I would like better but it is still a great game! Now 4 all you people bashing the game, you don't understand, the game runs GREAT if your computer can handle it. So if you have a slow running computer, its not gonna play well & thats why its all messed up or gliching.

I bought this 4 my 16 year old son 4 Christmas. We don't live on a farm but my son has always been interested in farming. He loves the game & plays it often. My 45 year old brother even plays this game & says he would like one 4 himself.

It was a b-day present.But they loved it! Said it was just great!
