This game is dated & the graphics are as such, but 4 the feeling of actually being in charge of ten guys in a WWII bomber you cannot beat it. If you actually want 2 pilot the plane & use all the many controls you had better be one fine sim pilot because the task is daunting. But if you let the computer take some of the workload & move from station 2 station in the aircraft it is an eerie time warp back 2 1944 as the crew turns 2 look at you & says, Hey pal, my life is in your hands, make a decision. This is no game 4 kids & it's not an arcade shoot em up. It is more like a movie unfolding & you are writing the script. I found it disquieting at times & enjoy the reality of the game. It's 4 real. However, with out 4 different Patches it would not run on my computer so go 2 The Scrolls & patch away.If you enjoy reality shows about 1944, this one's 4 you

I have bought two of this game, same problem with each. Should run on windows xp but won't even using compatibility mode. On line 2 Tech Support, they suggested many fixes, none of which worked, their final soulution was 2 try it on another computer. The windows xp I have is very powerful but it can't get either game 2 even start?
I am very disapointed, realy loked forward 2 flying my Father's aircraft.
They called it The Mighty Eighth' the US Army Air Force 8th Bomber Command that flew daylight missions over occupied Europe striking at specific military targets with pinpoint accuracy.
