TurboTax got sneaky this year. Customer "service" sucks.
I ordered TurboTax Federal & unlike last year this comes WITHOUT state. When I attempted 2 load state the product prompted 4 an ADDITIONAL $34.95. So I contacted them by e-mail (twice), on-line help (twice), & phone (twice). Guess what? Three of the six inquiries were something like "well the states are not available yet but they'll be free", two were "look at our website 4 descriptions of the product" which I'd BEEN using 4 years, & the last was it was all a mixup & it was "not free." So fortunately Amazon was VERY, VERY UNDERSTANDING & did what TurboTax refused 2 do & took it back. I switched 2 TaxCut. When I called them they provided REAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Go TaxCut!

Great tax preparation package
I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe at 4 many years & find it 2 be very easy 2 use. It covers many items,such as K-1 4 partnerships,etc.and automatically sets proper Standard deductions 4 married Seniors.
I wrote taxes 4 HR Block at one time, & found "Turbo Tax" 2 give tax returns equal 2 those reports.

great reliable product
only hiccup this year was late forms & not the best accuracy in notifying me when they were ready. But, if you're not a spaz about doing your taxes immediately, no harm done.

I have used Turbo Tax 4 as long as I can remember. I have always purchased their business & their personal tax products. Generally I had been satisfied. However this year after spending much time over many months working on a complicated return, Turbo tax dumped all the data including that which was saved many times over several months. It corrupted all but 2kb of data & can't even open that. Of course you can't get a person via telephone or email.
I would give them o stars if that was an option. So long Intuit.

turbo tax software
Turbo Tax Deluxe is an excellent product but they should make it easier 4 you 2 back up without having 2 go thorugh the whole category 2 get 2 one item.
Also they should make it easier 2 make adjustments 2 your state return. It's very annoying 2 find & adjust the State Return once you have gone back into your Federal Return.
I think it is a very good product BUT they should make it much easier 2 navigate 2 other areas ESPECIALLY 4 the STATE RETURN.
