the office ribbon is absolutely horrible
what kind of a company rewards loyal users by putting up a roadblock 2 productivity? this is the worst software 'upgrade' i have ever seen, & I've been using software 4 the past 20 years. yes, there are additional useful features. yes, there are fixes 2 previous limitations. but no, they did not have 2 be implemented with a completely new UI. The office ribbon is like GM taking the steering wheel & putting it on the other side of the car, & calling that a better car, though indeed, the new car has a better engine. WTF? why would anyone approve this without at least having an option, add-in, or whatever work around 2 go back 2 the classic menus? unfortunately this is a business school case worthy example of how not 2 treat your customers.

Where is it?
It is very hard 2 review this product, as I have yet 2 receive it. My account was debited almost two months ago. I have attempted 2 contact the seller three times, with no response. I am going 2 have 2 give this a very bad review!

Completely changed & unnecessarily difficult
I agree with all the other reviewers here who found Office 2007 2 be a HUGE disappointment & an absolutely frustrating dog 2 use. Gone are the familiar commands & icons we've all become used 2 with Office 2003. Gone is the ease of use. Gone is the familiarity of the previously great user interface. I can't imagine what Microsoft was thinking when they launched this awful product. It is most certainly a big step backward in productivity & is easily one of the most frustrating software products 2 use. Do not buy Office 2007! You'll definitely regret it. If you already did install it, then uninstall it now & go back 2 Office 2003. At least 2003 allows you 2 get things done in a reasonable amount of time without heaping stress & frustratiomn upon yourself. Sorry Microsoft - you really blew it this time!

I'm not sure if I should even bother. Please help.
I've just got a new job & everyone in the office seems 2 use 2007 & was thinking about even getting certified (MCAS). I've been a long time user of 2003 & previous versions but from reading the negative reviews here, I'm a little hesitant in buying this & the study guide & going through the whole nine yards in getting tested 4 the certification.

Is the 2007 THAT DIFFERENT? Are things like the "draw" function renamed & replaced elsewhere on the interface as well with a different icon (as a previous poster had mentioned on page 1)?

Please help me decide, thank you!

The box was delivered opened 2 my home & empty. I never heard from the seller, although I repeatedly emailed him. I was so disappointed. I rate the service as bad. I had 2 check at least one star 2 get this message 2 send. I have purchased the software elsewhere (not through Amazon), as I needed it 4 school. I love the software. This is the first time I have had any problems on an order with Amazon.
