Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.0 [OLD VERSION]

It's a great product 4 those who need 2 view pdf's & make minor changes 2 files. However, 4 those who work in graphic design, it is limited in some aspects, but still a very good product. There are areas that are very useful in designing & receiving graphic files from those who don't have the Adobe Creative Suites. The program reads all pdf files easily & pulls them right up without any problems. As old a version as it is, I'm glad I was able 2 purchase it from the seller through Amazon. The whole transaction went very smoothly & very timely.

Product wasn't in original packaging, missing the books. End users like that sort of thing.
Other than that product was shipped in a timely fashion & works.

Like many other Amazon customers, I too have had serious difficulty with Adobe Acrobat conflicting with other programs. In fact I phoned Adobe's corporate office seeking help in rectifying the issue only 2 be told that they we're unaware of Acrobat causing any issues with other software. Well, clearly this was a disingenuous response. Based on the sheer number of similar posts here, how could they not know about this problem?

In Adobe's case, bigger doesn't mean better. But you certainly get what you pay for... a lot of headaches 4 the money. Until the powers that be at Adobe are willing 2 acknowledge the conflict issue, I strongly suggest you purchase another PDF creation tool.

the first reason why we bought this program is 2 basically make pdfs! It works fine after you install the product but after a week or something I could not make a pdf on a word document anymore. I had 2 reinstall everything 4 it 2 work. then after a week it would not create the pdfs again. I wish I bought the 7 instead

If you only need 2 print 2 a PDF there are free products available. Unfortunately we need 2 scan 2 PDF's & there are not any less expensive options available. The product does all of the basic PDF manipulation & OCR.
