Mini Traveldrive 4GB

According 2 the product description, this was supposed 2 be a u3 device. Upon arrival, I quickly discovered it was not. I wasted time & money in purchasing this item & having 2 return it. Are sellers so stupid or lazy that they cannot accurately describe the items they sell?

Like the drive. It does what its made 2 do. I enjoy the intergrated light attached 2 the drive which blinks when you are accessing it. It lets you know its working. It includes a lanyard & a cap. The only downside is you have 2 be careful not 2 lose the included cap......put it in a safe place when using the drive.

This is not a U3 drive. Too slow & it comes with a Portable Vault Software 2 encode the data. I think that i lose my money.

I ordered a 4GB Mini TravelDrive U3 through J&R Music in August 2007. I received a regular TravelDrive (not U3) within a week. I contacted J&R & returned the product, using their recommended carrier (UPS), within 3 days. UPS charged me $9.20 2 ship the product, bringing my total shipping charges 2 over $15 4 a $34 product. Needless 2 say I was a little miffed!. To add insult 2 injury the product was backordered so I had 2 wait a few week.... I just received my replacement product, & once again it is not a U3 TravelDrive. I am upset... I'm not going 2 waste any more of my time nor another $9.20 on J & R Music.

I've owned this product (the real U3 version) before. This mini drive & U3 apps, including the password protection are great. I can attest 2 that having recently lost my mini drive. I can't imagine someone getting their hands on my data. Having owned the product before I was disappointed when I ordered & received the regular version of the drive & not the U3 drive I ordered. Like the previous reviewer I have returned the product & I'm waiting 4 the seller 2 correct what I am assuming is an honest mistake. I will update & comment further on the return in the event the seller does not handle this situation.
