These are great - you insert one into your USB port & you get an extra 4GB drive on which you can transfer files you may need on the road or you could back up about 1000 hi-res photos - but why not get the Kingston 8GB DataTraveler USB flash drive - High Speed USB?

The prices 4 the 8GB go up & down but, if you can get one 4 50-60% more than the 4GB then you should be in pretty good shape - & you could store 2000 photos :)

This flashdrive has a good amount of space & worked well 2 save my documents & pictures when I upgraded my computer. I recommend it.
