Transcend TS4GJFV10 JetFlash V10 USB 2.0 4GB Flash Drive

I needed few GB of space 4 traveling & transfering.
This was very good price 4 it's memory capacity.
This also has sliding out mechenism which makes it simple...never lose cap.

I am not sure about speed. Some files copy fast, some takes long long time & I think it has 2 do with my computer & file type rather than flash drive speed.

It is bigger than I thought. (even with sliding part)I wish it was smaller.
Design is not bad...very simple & clean.
Overall product looks cheap (because it is cheap), plastics are low quality & it feels fragile when I use it.
So I have 2 be careful, if I want this product 2 last long time.

It is good product, considering its price. But on next purchase, I might pay little more 2 get better built quality

i love this flash drive. had it 4 about 6 months now, & it is going strong with everyday use of at least 5 times a day. osx & vista machines.

the handy no-cap design ensures you wont lose the cap. i have dropped this 2 feet on a concrete floor, & it still works! i am impressed.

the read speeds 4 this flash drive are wonderful & where they need 2 be with all the other drives of this size. the only downside would be the write speeds, but they are not terrible. at the most i have 2 wait a couple minutes 4 600 mb. that is more than fast enough 4 school projects, & loading mp3's/photos/movies.

very light. hope my nephew doesn't lose it. love the fact that instead of using a cover the metal port connector retractable-dont recall seing that in the info about it.

It looks flimsy, but it does the job. Definitively not a high end product. It is small & the connector is retractable. I use it 2 transfer files between my computers & it has served me well. It comes with software that looks interesting. I did not install it. Can't beat it 4 the price. I recommend it.

I purchased JetFlash V10, 4gb about a month & a half ago. It has simply never worked. Transcend will not honor the "Lifetime" warrantee (they actually will not even return my emails or faxes). The Amazon seller will not take the item back, it was just a waste of money. I will never buy a Transcend product again.
