Adjust the AI & you'll enjoy the game!
2k7 is not a perfect game. But it's not bad at all. Adjust the AI levels in pitching, fielding, & hitting 2 where it's not too difficult, but not too easy & you can enjoy the game. Also, by adjusting some of the players as their skills improve (or decrease) in baseball can make the game more realistic too. I give it a 4 out of 5. Worth buying.

solid game, awesome graphics
MLB 2K7 4 Xbox is solid.
the graphics are awesome! you really see the true Atlanta Braves colors in this game.
the gameplay is easy & smooth & the rosters are easier 2 mess with because you only have the MLB & Triple A rosters 2 play with.
in MVP 2005, which i still play, you make one roster move, & then you've got 2 make 10 more just 2 fit the bill.

My kids had 2k5 & loved it, so I bought 2k7 & they're in heaven.

2k7 - fun & frustrating
The game is a lot of fun, the graphics are great, once you get use 2 the game play it is a good time. However; the computer makes too many unbelievable catches. The computer will climb the wall & steal away homeruns, or it will have it's players layout 4 amazing diving catches, the kind that you'd see only once in an entire season from your hall of famers, not every other inning. And the base running should be a little more intuitive, if you accidently hit the run button, the computer should retract the players rather than let them run into a base accidently 4 an out.

Very Disappointing
This is a very disappointing game. Sure it has good features, but it is let down by poor gameplay. The base-running is extremely frustrating, as the response is soooo slow. Also, when fielding the players can take on a life of their own.
The only good point with the gameplay is the pitching, which is challenging & quite fun.
I would not recommend this game 2 anyone. If you want 2 play a good baseball go with the EA Sports college baseball game. I will be returning MLB 2K7 as soon as possible!
OH YEAH, I almost forgot... it has already been mentioned, but I have 2 add my two cents... The commentary sucks!!! At least 2 or 3 times a game the commentary doesn't match the play. Lets say an outfielder fields the ball & throw it 2 an infielder, the commentators will announce that "X, boots the ball!!". It may seem minor, but combined with the other problems it gets under me skin!
