I purchased this camera 8 months ago. Still images are almost always blurry. The zoom quit working after just 4 months. The pictures come out grainy appearing, all no matter the setting. The flash works very poorly, as well, & you must be very close 2 your subject 2 have any effect. Also, there is a delay when you take a picture, of up 2 4 seconds, so if you need a quick shot, it won't happen. I would not recommend this camera.
Rating: 4 of 5 Another winner in the ELPH series
This is my THIRD CanonElph, & I enjoy each one more than the previous one. As a happy owner of an SD400, I moved onto this one as an upgrade & I have not been disappointed.
The functions of this one are even better than previous models. The video is actually SO great 4 a small point & shoot that I find myself using it more & more 4 clips of the kids & we watch the video on a HUGE screen tv & it looks great! I think redeye processing on this model has improved a bit over the previous model, but I still think it could do better. That's really my ONLY complaint with this camera.
I've taken great shots & had them blown up 2 posters 4 my wall. I love the fun color features of this camera as well. It does great night shots & I've taken some wonderful fireworks photos. I don't leave home without this camera!
Rating: 5 of 5 Great point & shoot
I have a rebel XTi & it is a wonderful camera but 4 my college design class it is not particularly handy 4 getting from one place 2 another, especially 2 photograph process work in class everyday. So naturally I came straight here 2 buy this one because of excellent ship timing & good customer service. I'm a electronics sales person at a large office supplier & had previously sold this camera not only 2 other people but 2 myself figuratively as well. I had seen it in action in the store previously & wanted one myself. I love it, have had it 4 3 or 4 weeks no problems with functionality at all. The screen got scuffed a bit but that's 2 be expected & doesn't necessarily degrade my opinion of the camera, especially because its mostly my fault. Fits in my pocket great too, good 4 Friday nights & such. Its a little slow in red eye mode but that's easily fixed by changing it out of that mode. Love the screen size. Excellent camera, buy it.
Rating: 2 of 5 Can't see screen when it's sunny
When I ordered this camera, I didn't realized it didn't have an optical viewfinder. The upshot is that it has a wonderful, large LCD screen that is perfect--unless it is sunny out, in which case the screen is totally washed out & you are left shooting blindly & hoping 4 the best. It does take great pictures, but the lack of viewfinder is a major flaw if you ever want 2 take photos on a bright day.
Rating: 5 of 5 Great Pocket Camera
I used this camera in Mexico 4 a week & it was fantastic both indoors & out. It also took great sunset shots.
Canon's iconic ELPH design achieves a stunning new evolution with the PowerShotSD750DigitalELPH. Utterly simple edge lines & cut surfaces gleam subtly with high-grade finishes. Of course, style means little without substance, & here the SD750DigitalELPH more than delivers. 7.1 megapixels & DIGIC III create magnificent images, while exciting advanced technologies include Face Detection, Red-eye Correction, & time-lapse movies. Always sized 2 go, the SD750DigitalELPH is now extra-durable, with a tough scratch-resistant coating on its anti-reflective, brilliantly colorful 3.0-inch LCD screen.
