SanDisk SDCZ7-4096-A11 4GB Ultra Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive (Silver) (SDCZ7-4096-A10RB)

This is my second 4 gig Titanium thumb drive. Never had any problems. They are very fast.

I had this drive 4 six months. It worked fine until one day when U3 automatically insatalled EverNote software, which locked up the drive & it's now unusable. The worst part is that SanDisk said I need 2 talk 2 the software vendor & they can't help. The software vendor doesn't except calls, email only. You got the picture.

Wonderful product. I like its speed & capacity. Not a fan of the software it brings 4 security. It gives you the option of uninstalling it after a few steps, which saved this product from losing a star. The memory stick glows a nice blue color as it works. Tested it on Windows XP & Vista without issues.

Wish these things had been available when I bought a Zip 250 drive & all those Zip "Super Floppies" a few years ago. Data storage is an area where amount & convenience have increased greatly & cost has steadily decreased.

Hate 2 date myself, but I was programming IBM mainframes from the mid-1960's onward when core & external storage was measured in kilobytes & 100 of those was a really big deal. People today have no idea what it is 2 be forced 2 scrimp & save on storage space constantly.

This SanDisk device seems 2 function as advertised & feels solid 2 the touch. Have a little difficulty getting it into a USB slot, but that seems 2 be improving with time & practice. As mentioned by other reviewers, data transfer does seem somewhat slow compared 2 other classes of storage devices, but is at least as fast as a Kingston drive I have.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the performance of this SanDisk 4GB USB flash drive thus far & can heartily recommend it. Looks nice as well.

I now have two (2) 4GB Cruzer Titanium U3 drives & they are truley out ot this world in performance & value! I also convinced a friend in Brazil 2 purchase 2 more U3's 4 his personal use with a company computer. These memory sticks are beyond compare. I highly recommend them 4 anyone traveling (use ANY computer anywhere) or those who are restricted from using the company computer 4 any personal use. GO 4 it!
