I have used WD products 4 years... I'm very pleased with my purchase.

This unit was an easy upgrade 2 my existing computer system.
I was prepared & had 2 reload all my software. Windows XP fought me the most. Thank You Microsoft. Also Norton is still giving me a problem.
No fault 2 this Hard drive however.

The HDD worked great the first time & has worked great 4 a month now. I still have an old motherboard that does not have standard SATA ports & I needed a new larger HDD 4 my system. I chose this HDD because I wanted an affordable drive with a decent ammount of capacity.

I have it partitioned so that I use a second partition 4 all program files & data & the first 4 the OS & certain programs that can only be installed into the primary drive or require certain files be installed in the primary drive ie. CS3. My first partition of 10 GB is running full so if you intend on doing a similar task, go a larger 4 the first partition.

The drive has worked flawlessly as it should & I intend on using it until it becomes unhealthy, which I hope is a long time.
