/>Pros:
/>1. Right size & weight 2 carry around
/>2. Great keyboard (this is what drove me away from Dell - the new Dell notebooks have serious issue with their keyboards; I touch type at the rate of around 70 words/pm & I get lot of repeated keys in Dell; HP keyboard is great! I like this)
/>3. Great display & resolution
/>4. good wireless (Intel wireless is the best compared 2 the broadcom wireless you find in some dell notebooks)
/>5. webcam is also great & easy 2 turn on/off.
/>Cons:
/>1. Battery life (can be improved; HP take note!)
/>2. Heat (after an hour of use, it does get hot but still comparable 2 most Dells of this size).
/>3. the imprint finish is a sucker 4 dirt & finger prints; has 2 be cleaned almost every day - otherwise looks very dirty
/>4. HP's support can be improved (at least please copy Dell's support site - since HP sells this with different numbers - more than 40 or 50 variations of dv2700+, it is so hard 2 get 2 support page 4 the model you have; it is really ridiculous 2 search 4 driver updates etc navigating through the HP web site).Just 4 this reason alone, I would like 2 reduce the rating 2 4 stars from 5 stars ( & I did).
/>
/>Overall,this is a great notebook 2 have!
/>UPDATE: After six months; If I can, I will change this review 2 1 star.
/>The cable from the power supply 2 the notebook, got frayed within 2 months in several places & I had 2 protect them by wrapping electrical tape (worried about shorting; 12v won't give shocks!). I called up HP customer service, & they agreed 2 send a replacement. BUT, they sent a wrong adapter after 20 days! (turns out that the serial number I have on the notebook when entered into their database shows DV2500T notebook instead of DV2700T - I can't believe it is HP which is doing this!). After calling them again, I will be getting my second adapter in a day or two now (not sure if this is going 2 be the correct one!). This cable was such a poor quality, that HP should have recalled this part long time ago. Also it takes one month 2 replace a power adapter on a current model of notebook they are selling on their web site? Give me a break..
/>I will not go back 2 HP anymore 4 anything less than a server...
