We bought this 4 our kids. They are 8, 7, & 5. This is too hard 4 them. I even tried 2 play, it is very hard & complicated. Not recommended 4 kids.

The game seems pretty good, but I had 2 help my first grader. It is a little too advanced 4 her in the reading & math department. I wish the games would indicate how much reading & math is necessary 2 play. A first graders' skills aren't that advanced. This would be great 4 a 10 year old. I would recommend the My Little Pony 4 the younger ones, we got her that later & she loves it!

My nine year old daughter got this game 4 her birthday. We had a little frustration at first trying 2 figure out how 2 make money, but once we figured out building the guest house was free, we were off & running! This game is pretty simple, with little frustration, which is a nice change of pace. Even I have a saved game on it as it is fun (and a little addictive) 2 build your ranch. It is fairly open-ended- you don't have 2 follow tasks in order, just decide what you want 2 buy & build & watch your farm grow. No having 2 figure out & find what so-and-so wants in order 2 move on...just wait 4 guests 2 pay & spend time fiddling around with the horses. It can be a little boring at times because there's only so much horse care you can do & you can't "end your day" till a certain time. We just let the clock run & take a break. Once you get more things built & more horses, there is more 2 occupy your time. I think it's great 4 kids age 6-10 & even adults can have fun with it.

In Horsez, you join a new academy where you need 2 train your horse 2 make him into a champion. You get 2 take care of an adorable foal&groom him 4 championship!
