Leica 18669 Classic Leather Case for D-Lux 3 Digital Cameras

The case is good quality & good looking it is easy 2 get the camera in & out when wearing the case on my belt. The magnetic catch can be stronger.

As someone who judges a lot of things based on looks I can honestly say that I shelled out the money 4 this case just because I thought it looked cool. That being said, I have been pleasantly surprised by the protective function of the leather case too. It offers plenty of protection 4 me 2 throw the camera into the baby bag, but it looks so great that I don't mind wearing it around my neck. It's the sort of case that will make you feel more like a casual photographer & less of a tourist. Yes it was pricey, but the camera inside was too, so you might as well spend a little more 2 keep it safe.

The strap is so thin that it's mostly 4 females, I have mine without the straps because they look very girly.

This is a very attractive accessory that will get compliments from strangers. It is a bit bulky & adds a lot of size 2 the D-LUX but it is protective, very well made & quite sexy.

This elegant case is well made inside & out. The fit & finish are top-notch. The inside is lined, & the sides are padded where the camera controls touch. The stitching is small & strong. The strap is narrow, but upon examination you will see it too is beautifully sewn & strong. It attaches 2 the case with spring clips, & the loops on the case are both sewn & riveted. On the back of the case is a belt loop if you don't want 2 use the strap. The latch takes some practice 2 close quickly, but is secure enough when shut. It allows fast access 2 the camera, & since the camera slides down into the case vertically, the latch opening accidently does not result in the camera falling out. Of course it also looks great. The Leica name is engraved on the front, which you can't tell from the picture. You got it, so flaunt it.
