Rating: 2 of 5 Returned it in 30 Mins
I ordered this camera from Amazon & it came in no time flat which was great. Unfortunately the camera is going back in less than 1 hour of ownership. I took the camera out of the box & loaded it with an 8 GB SD Card & tried out the video recording capability. Now this camera can record at 720P & it records in Quicktime MOV. I have a Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook & the video was completely out of sync, grainy & washed out. I wonder if mine was defective because the video was NOTHING like I had seen on the online sharing sites.
Rating: 5 of 5 awesome camera
i have had many camera's. i am always taking pictures & so when i dragged my video & still camera 2 a cheer competetion 4 my niece, i noticed a man reviewing his video taping he had just done on this little camera. needless 2 say i asked him what model number & went right home & ordered one on Amazon. i ordered it on Friday & it was 2 me by Tuesday, amazing. i had it in time 2 take pictures at my mother in law's 80th birthday & they turned out fantastic! Saturday i took video inside a moon bounce of my grand children & the movie was crystal clear. this little camera is just what i have been waiting for. i can't wait 2 take it 2 Las Vegas next year.
Rating: 5 of 5 Great all-around camera
Beautiful HD images, the best video camera I've ever owned, massive & clear display. Seems solid, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I've had bad luck with the reliability of previous Kodakcameras. You need 2 buy the HD dock 2 view in HD on a TV directly from the camera.
Rating: 5 of 5 Still Best Bang For Your Buck
I've had this camera 4 over a year, & it is still by far the best bang 4 your buck. The HD looks nice on a 16X9 TV, the pictures are ALWAYS high res, & colors are usually pretty well balanced. A little something I found randomly on the camera that has been a ton of fun is the panoramic mode that "stitches" the 3 shots you took together 4 a live preview in a few moments. One thing I would suggest 4 sure though is a hard case 2 protect it. The shutter release is kinda delicate & I've had 2 get it repaired, but this camera is a blast.
