One of the greatest advantages 4 me is the portability of this small & slim video recorder. Okay, so higher end recorders take better video but what good is that if you never take those recorders out of the bag? Any quality video is better then no video at all. This Flip Video is easy 2 carry around everday so you'll never miss capturing that kodak moment.
I do have some issues with the quality of video when enlarged 2 full screen on my computer. It's a little grainer then I'd like. I see that Sony has come out with a similiar recorder & I'm thinking I should try that one as well.
The Flip Video has great battery life & is pretty much idiot proof 4 recording, transferring 2 your computer, editing & uploading onto popular sites. It's also easy 2 e-mail 2 friends & family as long as it is a relatively short video. Otherwise, you will need software 2 get around the file limitations of e-mail. Another problem I have is the transfer 2 dvd. It is provided at a fee by Flip Video & Flip Video only. I am still searching 4 a way around this since I bought the product, I should be able 2 store the video how I want without having the send it 2 Flip Video 4 them 2 process. I don't like the idea of sending personal videos 2 a corporation.
