Horrible
This is the absolute worst headset I have ever owned. It will randomly disconnect while on the phone without any warning. The battery last about an hour if I'm lucky. I sent one back 2 Motorola & the one the sent back 2 me ended up being even worse than the first one I had. It does NOT have any sort of noise canceling at all. I will not be buying any Motorola products again.

H12 Low Volume
Pros: Very little if any background was heard from people on the other end. Small, compact, & stylish. Easy 2 setup. Neat charging system where it would magnetically attach 2 charger, making sure you were charging the headset.

Cons: Low volume, unable 2 clearly hear unless I was in a quite room, which defeats the purpose of having the noise cancellation. Buttons might be difficult 2 use if you have big hands. If you lost the charging station no other way 2 charge the headset. Flimsy plastic clip 4 ear wrap-around. It felt like it would break easily.

Other Thoughts: The charging station uses Micro-USB. Motorola seems 2 be switching 2 this standard now. It also comes with a shirt clip, which is handy 4 when you don't need it on your ear.

Not very very bad.... it may kill your ear once & 4 all!
Not very very bad.... not sure if it was my specific headset or all are like this but i had a LOT of dropped-calls, (e.g. suddenly you don't hear anything or you hear VERY VERY LOUD NOISE like (microphone near speaker) that i think i just got lucky that headset wasn't near my ear otherwise i would have gone deaf. either way, i ordered another one & returned this one. maybe my specific headset was SUCK. i'll update if that was the case.

H12 should be H-12
Everyone I talk 2 says I sound like I'm in a tunnel & I'm just not clear when they are listening. This is with my windows rolled up, air conditioner is off, & radio is off as well. I've tried all the volume adjustments & nothing seems 2 make this device sound better 2 the other person. It picks up all car background noises & there is absolutely no noise cancelation what-so-ever! If I am inside my home, the sound improves somewhat, but I bought this device mainly 2 use in the car while driving. If you are looking 4 a bluetooth headset 2 use in the car, this is not the device you want 2 get. Luckily I got this unit 4 free from a co-worker or it would have been $ out the windows.

Crystal talk is a joke
I just got this thing today. This is my first "nice" headset & I was excited 2 have noise canceling on it. By the end of the day I decided 2 return it. There is no noise canceling on this thing, zero, not at all! My girlfriend thought I was still talking on my four-year-old cheap Motorola headset hearing every bit of background noise in my car while I was driving (with the windows rolled up). The second issue I had was that the max volume on it was much too low while driving in the car, which with the new California hands free law, is the only reason that I upgraded.

This thing looks very sharp & if I wasn't using this thing 4 only driving I might keep it just 4 the trick charging station & the real on & off switch but the bottom line is its just not that great of a headset especially 4 the 129.00 I paid because I didn't want 2 wait 4 it 2 come in the mail.

The MOTOPURE H12 features Motorola's proprietary CrystalTalk headset technology that makes it possible 2 have natural phone conversations in dynamic noisy environments. It uses two microphones 2 separate the user's voice from background & wind noise, enhancing the user's voice & channeling pure, clear audio directly into the user's ear. TrueComfort design is the result of an intensive two-year ergonomic measurement study of the human ear, research that spanned age, sex & race. The result: a fit that is optimized around comfort, style & audio performance.
Minimalist & sleek, the H12 is smaller than a lipstick or golf tee & weighs only 12 grams. The H12 comes with matching desktop charger, charging case & carrying solution - a complete solution 2 carry, help protect, & charge in style. Unit Dimensions - 42x18 x12mm Wireless Range - Up 2 10m (33ft) Bluetooth
