Works great. You can also easily password protect your data. U3 works just as advertised. And if you don't like U3, you can uninstall it. I use this 2 "sync up" between home & work computers.

I'm glad 2 read other reviews & see I'm not the only one that bought this particular USB drive partly because it's so cute. I don't want 2 take my laptop 2 school every day so I needed something 2 carry assignments on that I could just plug into other computers. Since I have roommates & I use computer labs at school I did want something that was easy 2 identify as mine. 8GB, different looking shape, pink & flowers. Perfect. (and it also can fit on my keychain)

I like this new SanDisk Fleur flash drive (aside from the neat pink flower design) mainly because 8GB is great & I won't lose the cap. I'm a little disappointed that there is no lanyard like the older SanDisk flash drives had. Some people don't like the U3 software on this, but I since SanDisk got a lot of negative feedback about it, they now have a very easy way 2 get rid of it. Good 4 them 4 listening 2 their customers! I didn't need those "bells & whistles" so I took it off mine. Now if only they had made a cool pink lanyard 2 go with it...!

I love this USB drive. It fits nicely on my key ring but I can also use some string 2 loop it around my neck. The cap is great since I'm always losing those. Like other USB drives it is not quite 8GB because of needed formating but it is a great stick. And best of all it is PINK!!! My favorite color.
