Good quality however did not fit my Nokia N82. I gave it 2 a friend who had a blackberry 8110 & it was a very tight fit.

I appreciate every aspect of this holster (beautiful, tough, ease of use) if not the rather long clip, which is sometimes uncomfortable 2 wear. I use the holster horizontally, & when I sit, leaning forward, the top end of the clip would tend 2 hurt me a bit. Even though I don't have any belly...

BACKGROUND

My sleek new Blackberry Pearl came with an OEM case that left a lot 2 be desired. The OEM case was simply an inexpensive pouch. Coming from a Blackberry 8703, I was accustomed 2 nice aftermarket leather holsters. I was hoping that this holster would bring a similar style & convenience 2 my Pearl.

EXPECTATIONS

[1] Securely hold my 8130 when not in use
[2] Easily release my 8130 when I needed it
[3] Swivel on the belt
[4] Protect my 8130 screen when not in use

RESULTS

[1] The holster has a leather flap with a small magnet in the end. The flap folds over the Pearl & will generally keep within the holster should the holster be turned upside down. The magnet also serves 2 place the Pearl in sleep mode.

[2] It is easy 2 lift the flap & pull out the Pearl. I do it with one hand & a smooth continuous motion.

[3] Yes, the swivel is there. If you are wearing a sports coat or sitting in a smaller chair, you can easily swivel the holster on your belt so that it better fits your sitting angle.

[4] The interior of the holster is lined with felt & thus it protects the Pearl screen.

AFTERTHOUGHTS

I love this holster. The leather is sooooooo soft & the price point makes it easy 2 purchase several of these 2 have in the car, work office, home office, etc. I did have the exact same occurence as one of the other reviewers. I was seated & having a discussion. When I rose, the case was caught by the arm rest & pulled from the belt swivel. Also like the other reviewer, I used a glue, actually it was an epoxy, 2 reattach the holster 2 the belt clip. This event was prior 2 me purchasing several as backups. I no longer use the repair holster but I occasionally see it & it is still firmly attached 2 the belt clip.

SUMMARY

I am 100% satisfied with this item. It looks great, is very soft 2 touch, securely holds the Pearl, protects the Pearl's screen, & makes it convenient 2 keep your Pearl with you. Unlike some of the holsters 4 the larger Blackberrys, I hardly notice that I am wearing this holster. I wholeheartedly recommend this item.

This is a very nice case 4 the BlackBerry Pearl. It is all it is supposed 2 be.

This holster has a nice clean look & holds the phone well. It also fits my Razr perfectly. I really like the magnetic catch over a velcro catch, & the little magnet in the holster puts the phone in a sleep mode that uses very little battery (actually I get almost twice the standby time compared 2 just letting the phone sit out on my desk). The only thing I don't like is that the swivel only rotates 180 degrees. I prefer 2 clip my holsters from the bottom side of my belt rather than the top, because the top of the clip can dig into my side when I bend sideways 2 pick stuff up. Can't do that with this one.
