The frame was damaged out of the box & it took me almost 3 weeks 2 finally receive my return.

I bought one 4 my mother, the display is great & the instructions are horribly written--had 2 call the distributer. but if you connect the display 2 your pc with the usb cable you can drag files onto the icon 4 the picture frame & the transfer is very good speedl
the only thing missing is a random access pattern, the pictures can be viewed in order only & this gets 2 be a drag. There is a choice called "random" in the menu system but it refers 2 the different fade in/out patterns used, not the order of the slides.

I requested & obtained a full refund promptly on this item. The remote did not work, the voltage converter became too hot 2 handle after 30 minutes or so, & the device would not boot up right after turning it off. I had 2 wait several hours 4 it 2 boot up again. I was satisfied with the display. The clock & calendar would have been good features, but the clock had 2 be reset each time the device was turned on, & the printing was too small be be seen across the room, hence one had 2 get up close 2 read it.

Compared 2 the other 15 inch frames, this one is fairly good in price & quality. The frame is solid wood (unlike some other plastic ones) this gives it a solid feel throughout. As far as the display is concerned, mine came with no dead pixels. It displays my photos clearly & bright.
The internal 1GB memory is a real plus - most others only come with 256 MB or none at all.
I have transferred a full length 700MB .avi movie file from my SD card 2 the internal memory & it played beautifully. I was also able 2 play a movie off my USB Flash drive.
The music slideshow feature is fully adjustable & works well. It also comes with a handy credit card size remote.
