HP Pavilion DV9730US 17.0-inch Entertainment Laptop (AMD Turion 64 X 2 Dual Core TL-64 Processor, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium) Radiance

I am totally happy with the computer itself although the key popped off after a week but that's not a major issue. My only complaint is about HP service, the only way I can fix that is 2 send the computer back 2 them which will take 3 weeks or more 2 come back 2 me. I compare that with another manufacturer, it's really discouraging 4 future considerations.

I've had this beauty since May '08. I tried Windows Vista 4 a few days, but I really hate it, can't stand it, so I went back 2 good old Windows XP, after researching a little over the internet I found a complete list of the drivers, & yes, they all work perfectly, so since may 15 I've been using XP & I'm loving it. Also I've recently installed Kubuntu 8.04 & although I'm having some problems with the wireless & ricoh card drivers, it rocks.

I totally recommend this PC.

El laptop supera mis espectativas, es algo pesado para cargar, pero lo compre para mantenerlo en casa.

This is the worst computer I have ever owned. I had it 4 a week & got so frustrated that I erased everything & put XP on it 2 find out they don't make the device drivers 4 XP. How convenient. I can't install any of my software on it. Some programs I paid hundreds of dollars for.

I purchased this laptop in February-use it daily & have never had one problem with it. I wouldn't buy any other kind than HP & if the house burns down, the kids will have 2 fend 4 themselves-I'm saving the laptop! I have recommended it 2 many people!!
