Mophie Juice Pack Case and Rechargeable Battery for iPhone 1G (Black)

I received my juicepack within 5 days but it didn't work right. It made my iphone blink on & off incessantly. I called support & they requested I fax a proof of purchase. After that I couldn't get ahold of them at all. I tried 4 ten days & nobody returned my phonecalls or emails. I was despondent until finally I threatened 2 pepper the internet with negative posts regarding their product. I then got an email from the president of the company apologizing & informing me a new juicepack was in the mail. Sure enough, I got a new one that works great. I am happy with it & feel better about doing business with this manufacturer but I definitely think they need 2 beef up their support system.

Let me preface this by saying I bought two of these Mophie units but have not been able 2 use them, yet. I bought two, one 4 my wife & her iPhone, & one 4 me & my iPod Touch. The finish & style are solid. I like the clean lines & the status LEDs. My only gripe is that if you have Skinz installed, there's no room 2 fit the Mophie & the iPod Touch is just a bit too wide 2 accommodate it, not 2 mention it interferes with the audio jack though this could be remedied with a very tight 90 degree phono jack. I cannot attest 2 the battery life since I really couldn't fit it 2 either the Touch or the iPhone (with Skinz). I understand the Mophie was never advertised 2 fit the Touch, but I was optimistic since it's form factor is so close 2 the iPhone (1st Gen). Regardless I would still recommend the Mophie 4 anyone with a stock iPhone & if I work out the fit issues 4 the iPod Touch w/o voiding the warranty on the Mophie, I'll try 2 share.

Best iPhone/iPod Accessory yet! this product works just as it says it does. i may buy another one. reports on battery life were accurate. i used it heavily browsing & making calls & using it as an ipod & it took me 12 hours 2 kill it before i took it off & then i had a full battery on my iphone. the only thing they could improve is that it should have a protector 4 the screen. a flap or or something.

I have a 3G phone which is slightly larger than the 1G phone which makes getting the phone in & out of the mophie difficult. However it works like it is suppose 2 as long as you are willing 2 struggle getting the phone in & our of the mophie. I am very happy with it given these limitations.

Overall: would buy it again.

Pros:

Cons:
* only 4 2G iphone
* cannot use the Mophie connector 2 synch through.
* Mophie will not charge with some old accessories such as a Griffin car connector but will charge with any car connector which uses the USB cord.
* does get a bit warm in use.
