Yes I know it say's it is, but the stupid drive comes formatted with FAT32. Good luck trying 2 get it formatted in Mac OS & mounted. Mac users should not be buying USB, we have natural firewire which is never a problem. Every USB drive I own is flakey; will not sleep, & unreliable. You put the Mac 2 sleep, the USB turns it back on, gotta love that feature. I have about 10 Firewire drives which never cause a hitch.
One question 4 Apple is WHY ARE YOU PUTTING LESS FIREWIRE PORTS AND MORE USB?
Sometimes the companies work against us.
Don't buy this unless you want headaches. it's a Windoze drive without the usual dip switches.
