Olympus FE-340 8MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom (Black)

I absolutely love this camera! I'm not a camera person & have very little experience taking photos (usually with disposable cameras). However, this camera is super easy 2 use & after playing with it 4 an afternoon I had some really good shots. When I finally take time 2 study the instuction book & learn how 2 use all the features I know I'll be a pro! The display screen it just the right size (some are too small) & is very clear when viewing your shots. One of the features on the camera is 4 taking pictures thru glass. I lined my camera up between the slates of the blinds so they weren't visible & took numerous shots of my sister's dog sunning on the deck. You absolutely cannot tell it's taken through glass. I am actually buying the same camera in pink 4 my sister 4 her birthday because she had so much fun with mine. I would definitely recommend getting the 2GB picture card 4 the camera 2 increase the memory. For approximately $20, it's well worth it. I would also recommend buying thru Amazon - I searched high & low 4 the cheapest price on this particular camera & nobody beat Amazon. I know you'll love this camera if you give it a "shot"!!!

I love this camera. It is very small & has awesome zoom, everything works wonderfully & I would recommend it 2 any photographer. The options are also great 2 play with.

I purchased this product in July 2008 & have been trying 2 make it work ever since. I've got hundreds of vacation photos saved on the flash drive that I may never get 2 see. The camera refuses 2 communicate with any computer. Olympus tech support is only open during business hours when most of the world is at work which makes it useless 2 me. I've owned several Cannons in the past with no troubles. For some unknown reason I decided 2 give Olympus a try. Never again. I'll probably just throw it away having learned an expensive lesson:
NEVER BUY ANYTHING WITH OLYMPUS WRITTEN ON IT.

The camera is better than i expected. Lot of options, good colors & good picture quality, especially in day light.It also take good pictures in the dark, but you have 2 be close 2 the subject. For a compact camera , it takes excellent pictures .
