As others here, I upgraded my PS3 with this excellent drive. Couldn't have been easier 2 install. Before I upgraded, I backed up the old drive, slapped this baby in & restored. Now everything is exactly how it was except I have tons of space left 2 load HD videos taken with my Sony HD VideoCam. I don't even need a Blu-Ray burner. I just view my videos directly from the PS3 hard drive. Highly recommended 4 PS3 owners!

Superior quality 4 the price
I bought this hard drive 4 my windows laptop & so far it has been excellent. All the specs are the same as my replaced Hitachi drive except the capacity of course, so the performance is the same as far as i can tell. The only downside that I've noticed about this drive is that when its under a heavy workload, such as resource-hog games, it get VERY hot. Usually, it gets around 58*C.
Even though there are flaws, I have 2 give it a five star because 4 the price, they are all well-worth it. I highly recommend this product.

Like so many others, I puchased this drive as an upgrade from 60GB HD in my Playstation 3. The drive performs perfectly, no noise, no issues. It has handled everything I have thrown at it, movie downloads, music, & games. This HD is a great choice 4 Playstation 3 owners & is a great price.
