I am a scrapbooker, enough said, I take lots of pictures. I have had this camera 2 months & didnt want 2 write a review until I had a real handle on how it performs. It is the best compact camera I have owned & easy & the pictures are great. I have nothing negative 2 say. I have it in gold & it is very stylish.
Rating: 4 of 5 Trust Canon 4 all of your photos
I own a CanonDigital SLR & had a "no name" point & shoot that I had received 4 my birthday. I finally grew tired of the lack of performance & purchased the SD1100 & I have been very happy with that decision. I would have given this 5 stars but I think all digitalcameras should be required 2 come with at least a slip-case.
Rating: 5 of 5 THE Cannon Powershot

Rating: 3 of 5 No USB Charging Support Drains Battery When You Don't Expect It
Great versitile camera 4 the amateur wanted 2 take good pictures but I have one serious gripe as stated in the title. No USB charging support means that you have 2 remove the battery & put it in the wall charger in order 2 charge the battery. More troublesome is that if you leave the camera connected 2 your PC 2 upload photos & then forget about it, it drains the battery. I can't tell you how many times I've uploaded photos one day 2 find my battery dead the next when I want 2 use the camera again. Perhaps there's an auto shutoff feature but I haven't found it.
Rating: 5 of 5 great little camera
I haven't used all of the features but it seems 2 be a great little camera that tucks inside my shirt pocket & can be used without pushing a number of buttons etc. Pictures look great, color fidelity is impressive & I'm happy. This is my first canon after three kodak digitalcameras.
