I own a digital SLR that was just too big 4 me 2 take 2 Europe on a business trip. I needed 2 pack light, & this camera was part of the solution. It is small, but not so small it's fragile or easy 2 lose. It fits in a shirt, coat or pants pocket fine, & is metal bodied so it is pretty durable too. I took some amazing photos of London & Paris with it, & the panorama feature is really cool. The camera will automatically stitch together up 2 three photos. While you are framing the second or the third shot it shows the trailing edge of the previous shot on the screen 4 you 2 line up your photo. It takes some practice but it works great as a built in feature. I have zero complaints about this camera. None!

It's easy 2 use but the dial 2 set the modes is hard 2 read...too small. It's lightweight, easily viewable screen unless you're in the sun where there is a glare present. Rechargeable battery is a nice feature & lasts a long time.
Rating: 5 of 5 great product - small package
this tiny device has so many great funcitons packed into it. the photos are great quality of course, but I was pleasantly surprised by the video. you can take any video frame & create a still photo from it - & one would expect those photos 2 be mediocre, but they're great too! I gave it as a gift 2 a friend who never reads owner's manuals, & he has all but mastered every function within a week of receiving it.

In preparation 4 a trip 2 Europe last August I was looking 4 a new camera. As we were planning on a lot of walking & packing very light, I wanted a pocket-sized camera. No way was I taking my old Pentax film SLR camera on this trip!
There are many cameras out there that are similar in size & features 2 the KodakM763, but most are more money. I have a general policy of not spending more than I have 2 4 electronics, as whatever I buy will be obselete in a few years (witness my previous digitalcamera, only two & a half years old & positively outclassed by the M763 4 only $10 more).
I purchased this camera, & was VERY pleased with the pictures I took. It did everything I asked & expected from a pocket camera. Excellent clarity outdoors, with enough zoom capability 2 allow proper framing of the picture without having 2 move a great deal. Excellent low-light performance indoors allowing pictures in many circumstances without flash, which avoids the washed-out faces against a black background so common in flash pictures. Face recognition & image stabilization worked well, allowing quality pictures in light conditions I never expected 2 work.
All in all I was extremely happy with my pictures & the ease of use of the KodakM763, & never felt like I was missing out on features of more expensive cameras. I would heartily recommend it 2 anyone looking 4 a pocket snapshot camera.
Rating: 3 of 5 Great Price 4 little Camera
Great Price 4 little camera. Takes beautiful pictures only if there is great light. If there is little light, you have 2 guess on the shot because the LCD screen does not allow you 2 see the view very much at all. Zoom is great as long as you don't zoom in more than 3x...grainy. When you take pictures in bright sunl1ight there is a mirror glare. I am in the process of paying a few extra dollars 4 a camera that would better fit my needs. I wouldn't purchase again.
The M763 is simple 2 use & packed with the features you need 2 get great looking pictures. Plus, it's pocketable & available in stylish colors with optional fun accessories - all at a price you can afford.Unpack the M763 & you're ready 2 shoot. It's that simple.
