I purchased my third Toshiba notebook after dumping a cup of hot tea into the keyboard of my last model.

Lesson learned: Don't fall asleep leaning over your notebook.

Lesson learned #2: Hot tea won't keep you awake when you're really tired.

So, I purchased the Toshiba Satellite A205-S5814 as a replacement. I was able 2 take advantage of an additional rebate which made the value too good 2 pass up.

Here's my caveats:

I use the notebook 4 writing, working & shopping. I'm not a gamer.

I use the notebook exclusively. I prefer the mobility over desktop models. I often travel with this notebook so durability is important 2 me.

Toshiba notebooks have provided me years of hassle-free use. If they ever build a model that repels hot beverages, I'll consider an upgrade.
