I ordered this camera package as a Christmas gift 4 my wife. Our old camera had fallen & broke, so we'd been borrowing one from my mother-in-law. But this deal looked like a great way 2 replace it, & score points 4 a Christmas gift.

But Electronics Express sent the camera in the original package, & just slapped some packaging tape & a shipping label on it. The surprise is ruined. I'm surprised that the camera even arrived as every postal worker that touched the box would know what was inside.

What a tremendously dumb decision. The camera (if it works like the one my m-i-l has) is great.

I have had the Sony Cybersot 4 about two months now. I owned a previous model of the Sony Cybershot that I absolutely loved. unfortunately It fell out of my purse & crash 2 the ground. It was never the same. But din't get me wrong that was the last of thusands of crashes... That was just the final one.

So I automatically set out 2 get another. First off I loved that I had a choice of colors (Pink, Black, Silver & Blue). Of coarse I chose the pink... Thing that I hated most was the music. It took me a while 2 figure out how 2 cut that annoying feature off. InstantlyI was not a fan of the menu... I had 2 actually break down & use the manual... For me that is virtually unheard of!!! & Believe me I am embarassed 2 actually admitt this fact... lol

Ok back 2 the Sony Cybershot. I purchased this camera 4 the Smile Shutter technology. It captures smiles the moment they happen - without having 2 press shutter. The mode can be set 2 capture when your subject laughs, smiles or even grins. It also has Face Detection function is able 2 differentiate children & adults 2 set priority.


With this camera I actually take better pictures in poor lighing. It takes fabulous pictures in normal lighting. There has been several occasions that I have used my camera & my pictures have been requested the most...

I am also very pleased that the screen in the rear of the camera is huge & clear as a bell. In poor lighting you can't see very well but that is expected. Once you take enough pictures you will be able 2 capture whatever your heart desires.

7.2-megapixel gives you more detail & definition whenever you need big prints or 4 tight cropping. The advanced Sony Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design allows more light 2 pass 2 each pixel, increasing sensitivity & reducing noise. So Bad lighting situations are ideal 4 this camera.

Carl Zeiss 4x Optical Zoom Lens is great 4 sharp, detailed long shots & quickly frame images 4 better composition -- great 4 family sports, outdoor fun, & travel photos.

I simply love this new camera.
It has so many new features that I love. Like the smile shutter.
It can also take great pictures at night which my previous camera wasn't so good at. I highly recommend this camera. Go & buy it if you want a great quality camera but don't feel that you want 2 spend a fortune on it!
