Great Speed
This Iomega Portable HD is great, its small, sleek, & fast. It has some integrated shock absorbers that make this portable since they proctect if from the wear & tear of travel. However if you are a traveling student that needs 2 switch between mac & pc, you will need 2 partition & format this 4 Mac, once you partition one side 4 Mac & the other 4 PC you will have no issues using this on the two machines.
