HP Pavilion DV6910US 15.4-inch Laptop (2.00 GHz AMD Turion X2 TL 60 Dual Core Mobile Processor, 3 GB RAM, 200 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium)

My wife bought this laptop the same time I bought my ACER Extensa laptop. After a month, her laptop is glitchy, buggy & slow. No matter what we try (formatting the disk), reinstalling the OS, virus scans, memory scans/cleans the only thing we can see is the hardware is cheep & lousy. HP service was no help either. This is probally one of the things HP adopted from their new "Compaq" partners who make the worst computers known 2 mankind & suffer from random computer strokes or other computer death releated problems. The ACER Extensa laptop is flawless & the same price as this machine except in the ACER 4 this price you get 4gb ram, 350 gb HD & an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. We have traded this bugged laptop in 4 another ACER EXtensa. So much happier.

After looking around, I decided that this computer offered a lot of bang 4 my buck. Shipping was very quick & communication was excellent from the Amazon supplier. The computer arrived unscathed via UPS.

It offers a lot of features that I wanted, e.g. fast processor, large hard drive, built in camera. It also has finger print ID--a feature I wasn't convinced I needed. It is an interesting accessory, however, providing quick start up.

After having the computer about a month, I'd say it fits my needs well. The only downside is a HUGE battery. I was not expecting something this large. When installed, it creates a large "bump" on the bottom of the computer. I hope it redeems itself in long, unconnected operating times. It does significantly add 2 the weight of the computer.

UPDATE: I had an issue with the battery & a pop up error message. The computer would not function using the battery & I had a message that there was low disk space on the D portion of the harddrive. After several hours with HP technician--4 of them--they agreed 2 having me send it back 4 repair. I just got it back--quick turn around time--but ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE service. The computer was returned with a form saying that HP did not service this computer!!! I should have bought the Mac!! This is the last HP product I'll buy!!

The laptop HP Pavillion DV6910US was even more complete & versatile than anticipated.
Super loaded with extra features it has become my prized & most
useful of all my PC's.
I can't find words 2 describe this beauty I now own & enjoy.
I was using a Dell sort of similar but 45% pricier 2 the HP Pavillion.
I was blown away by the speed,clarity & ease 2 use this model with an incredible bargain of a price.
As promissed was built 2 my specifications & arrived 3 days before due.

This lap top is goog very good but, I have 2 buy all the softwere it's not easy without this little thing it will be a 5 stars product.
