Gateway M-1628 15.4" Laptop (AMD Turion TL-60 Processor, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium)

I bought this computer 4 my son (16). He does alot of homework, & gameing, which he states it's great. He chose this PC 4 what it could do, I agreed because of the price. I'm not good with writing reviews, however my Son, & I love all that this laptop can do. It's a great deal 4 what I paid. I did do comparison's. For all that it has, 4 all that it do, & the price, at the time I bought it , it is a great purchase.

I bought this laptop believing that I was going 2 be one of the lucky ones without experiencing the typical wireless card failure, but Oooohhhh surprise, after 1 1/2 months the problem just appeared.

In addition 2 that, every time I use my laptop in vertical position (when I am at my bed) the laptop starts 2 get really hot, the fan works like crazy & then the laptop just turns off.

I am so extremely happy with this seller. I ordered my lap top last week around 2:00pm...it was delivered via UPS the next day at noon.

I ordered a new laptop. It is in mint condition physically & I am having no problems whatsoever with using it.

I would most definitely by from this seller again. And I recommend buying this type of laptop.

We bought a Gateway & Windows got hosed 4 some reason. We called 1-800-GATEWAY 4 support. Guess what? If you buy a Gateway anywhere but their website you must call a separate toll number. WTF!? Then we needed 2 restore it but the restore partition was bad. Had 2 get the recovery disk. They charged me $20 4 a $1 CD-R. Then it wouldn't work, & they wanted 2 charge me 2 tell me how 2 use it. Again WTF? These people are horrible. Save yourself a lot of trouble & get a Mac. Get HP. Get an abacus. Anything but Gateway.
