High Quality Mirror Screen Protector Guard for LG Dare VX9700 VX-9700

According 2 the description the product is suppose 2 make the screen brighter when the phones screen is lit up, this definitely does not happen. This screen protector definitely makes things harder 2 see on the phone itself. The plus 2 this is the fact that the Mirror part of the screen protector actually works very well...

I purchased this screen protector about a month ago, & after a month ago, I regret every cent I spend on this screen protector.

The "mirror finish" is not nearly as good as in the picture. In the picture, you cannot see the screen at all, & it seems 2 fit the screen perfectly. In reality, you can see the word Verizon & the LG logo, which isn't bad. But, the mirror is nowhere near as good as in the picture. In the picture, you can clearly make out a camera & the person's hand. When I look at the screen, if it is within 6 inches, it doesn't look bad. But, once you look at it from farther than 6 inches, the image gets extremely distorted.

It also gets scratched extremely easily. The only other thing I keep in my pocket with my phone is a usb drive that has a rubber case 4 it. It is a Sony micro vault tiny if you want 2 look it up. From day one when I put on the screen protector, it has developed extremely small scratches that distort the mirror effect quite a bit. The reason I got the screen protector was I thought it would be more like the one I had 4 my iPod touch, which didn't get scratched at all.

This screen protector really darkens the screen. It does not make it "brighter & sharper" as the description states. If you are outside, it effectively makes the screen non-readable. The reflective surface will still reflect anything even when it is on, which I should have expected when I first saw the product, but I liked the idea & bought it still.

If fingerprints bother you, this screen protector is not the one 2 buy. This screen protector attracts more fingerprints than the phone without the screen protector! It states "can be resistant 2 erosion & finger-printing." That is one strong emphasis on the can. It really emphasized the finger prints so that they are more defined & obvious.

Overall, I rated the High Quality Mirror Screen Protector Guard 4 LG Dare VX9700 VX-9700 a (1) one star, but would rate it a 0 (zero) star if I could. I would not recommend this product 2 anyone.

The shiny mirror finish makes it look like a LG shine. The "mirror" finish has a horrible reflection, makes your face look distorted. Applying it was simple, but it's a silly thing really, a waste of money. While navigating on the LG Dare, you see these weird rainbow like colors all over it. It states it makes the screen look brighter, sharper.. & that is so not true. Please don't waste your time... seriously. It only serves well 4 two reason which deserves one little star... protection from scratches, & a shiny look. thats it.

The shiny surface is cool looking but blocks so much of the screen display that phone is difficult 2 see. Also, reflections make the screen even harder 2 read. Don't waste your time. Buy a non-reflective cover

The product itself is good. It fits very well & 4 the price you just can't beat it. Having the mirror like finish 2 it is pretty cool looking. But it blocks the light going 2 the face detection sensor, so when you are in a call the screen goes black & does not come back on until the call is over. I had the screen protector on 4 3 days & could not figure out why my screen would shut off while in a call, even when it was far away from my face. As soon as I pulled the film off it came back on & now works properly while in a call. Unless you do not need 2 use the key pad while in a call then go ahead. But if you are in a call & need 2 use the number pad 2 make selections or scroll through your in call options then I would not get this product because it renders you phone useless while in a call. I wish I would have known before I wasted my money.
